The Passionate Knitter

The first knitted doll that I ever created for ak was Mia, a passionate knitter who was worked in our distinctive traditional colour palette – she was soon joined by four equally passionate friends, each worked in a different colourway. The group then stared in advertisements to promote ak traditions own 100% Merino knitting wool. Things have changed since then and we have many knitted dolls however Mia still sits at the heart of ak and the Passionate Knitter remains our most popular doll.

This kit comes packed in a knitted doll cylinder and includes everything you’ll need to create Mia or Kate, including:

• handmade dolls and accessories, our knitting pattern book with knitting instructions, 3 clothes patterns and a set of sewn clothes patterns
• a separate pattern to knit the passionate knitter outfit,
• a total of 9 x 50gms of ak traditions 100% merino dk yarn,
• fabric for doll lining
• 100% wool felt for wrap skirt and boots
• embroidery threads, bag hands, brooch back and mini knitting needles
